The local library is a pretty nice place, and they have this incredible mural. Every time I see it Im impressed, but today i decided to get up close. This is the description i found of the installation.
"Mary and Lafayette Miller from their wedding photo in 1862. A composite photo of nine miners, including a tall young miner in a white shirt, Harvey R. Eddy, who was the only miner on the mural living at the time of the dedication. He attended the dedication and was interviewed on a supplemental tape, a copy of which is now in the Carnegie collection."
